Ahmed Sudi
Ahmed Sudi Bosnavi (Foča, Ottoman Empire, now in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1592-3/8 May 1598)〔BURRILL, KATHLEEN. "SUDI, AHMED". In Encyclopaedia of Islam. vol. 9, San-Sze. 2nd ed. Leiden: E. J. Brill, 1997. 762. ISBN 90-04-10422-4.〕 was an Ottoman translator and commentator. He is famous due to his comments on the Divan of Hafez and Gulistan and Bostan of Sa'di. Sudi in his ''Sherh-i Gulistan'' in many places have criticized the previous interpreters. One of the main targets of his critics is Shem'i. 〔Kaya, İbrahim.
